ORIGIN: Oltrepò Pavese
VINE VARIETY: Croatina, Barbera, Uva Rara
SOIL: Clayey with calcareous marl and gyspum located around the 45° parallel north
GRAPE CULTIVATION: Guyot-trained
HARVESTING: By hand in boxes
VINIFICATION: Grape pressing and destemming with pre-fermentation maceration of the grapes, to extract colour and aroma, and fermentation at controlled temperatures with cultured yeasts.
REFINING: In stainless steel tanks. During ageing, the wine undergoes several analytical checks to assure its integrity.
BOTTLING: Cold sterile
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%vol
COLOUR: Bright vivid ruby red with grenade veins
NOSE: Intense, with hints of wild berries, blackberry, raspberry, black currant, spicy notes, coffee and chocolate.
PALATE: Dry, full and strong, with hints of cloves and black pepper, balanced tannins.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16 – 18°C
