Rosè Bello / varietale:
ORIGIN: Apulia in the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Lecce.
VINE VARIETY: Negroamaro, Bombino Nero
SOIL: Clayey, calcareous located around the 40° parallel north.
GRAPE CULTIVATION: Guyot-trained.
HARVESTING: By hand.
VINIFICATION: Grape pressing and destemming and cold maceration of the grapes. Fermentation at controlled temperature with culture yeasts.
REFINING: Natural second fermentation in low temperature pressurized tanks in which cultured yeasts are added.
BOTTLING: Cold sterile
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 11.5%vol
COLOUR: Vibrant pink with raspberry tinges.
NOSE: Characteristic scent of mixed berries with marked notes of blackberry.
PALATE: Fresh, savoury, elegant with a sparkling note.
INTERNATIONAL PAIRINGS: Tapas (Mexico) – Kebab (Turkey)
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 10 – 12°C
CURIOSITY: The Bombino vine variety is also known under the name ‘Buon vino’ (Good wine), long cultivated in the region Apulia. It is characterized by a good yield and excellent production.
